Plumbago

Description
A cluster of Plumbago auriculata blooms caught in soft afternoon light, photographed in Kigali, Rwanda. The pale blue-white flowers radiate outward from a central stem, their five-lobed petals traced with delicate veining that only reveals itself up close. Sticky green calyxes and deep purple stems anchor the composition, while the background dissolves into a warm wash of dark green and amber bokeh. This image rewards time. The closer you look, the more there is to find.
